Exasol’s CDAO says that every data team needs individuals or groups to manage four core capabilities – Data Operations (or Data Ops), Data Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Product and Proposition. Where these sit in the organization isn’t important, says Peter, but it’s crucial they’re covered off.
